A server on a standard TCP/IP network with:
- Java runtime 1.4 or better.
- A static IP address or a network-resolvable name.
- Enough memory to handle your Java applications.
- An accessible, available port (by default, port 2183).
If the server is running Windows, it should be Windows XP or Windows 200x.
Buju was developed on Windows XP using Sun's JDK 1.4.2.
Tested environments:
- Windows XP with Sun JRE 1.4.2
- Debian Linux 3.0.6 with Sun JRE 1.4.2
